Curvy Ghanaian nurse who twerked in her uniform while on duty is declared wanted (video)
A video of a Ghanian nurse went viral during the week, in the video, the Ghanaian nurse was twerking in her uniform while she was on duty. She has been declared wanted by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives’ Association.
The nurse had her backside to the camera as she twerked in the video, while someone's hand tapped her butt as seen in the video.
As she continued tweking, the person who tapped her butt later straddled her.
The video went viral and led to outrage as people condemned her (the nurse twerking) for disrespecting the profession and uniform.
It got the attention of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) and they directed all District and Regional Executives to assist in identifying the nurse who was tweking so that she can be disciplined.
In order to protect the dignity of the profession, they warned other nurses to desist from such bad act and "unacceptable behaviour especially when in uniform".
In the letter, they wrote:
COMMUNIQUE ON TWERKING ON SOCIAL MEDIA BY A "NURSE"
The attention of the leadership of Ghana Registered Nursos and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has been drawn to a video clip on Social Media, which projects a "nurse" twerking in her uniform. It is not clear who this individual is, whether indeed she is a Nurse and which health facility she works or it is just someone simply dressed in Nurses uniform.
The GRNMA strongly disapproves of such capers by Nurses and Midwives and regards the hwerking in a professional uniform as an unacceptable conduct and a disgrace to our noble profession. Such practices do not refect the ethics, etiquette and standards of our professions and therefore the GRNMA inherently disassociates tself from the video.
In view of the above, the leadership of the GRNMA is directing all District and Regional Executives as well as the generai membership to assist in the identification of the said "nurse" if indeed she is one and provide the Head Ofice with any information that can assist in investigation by contacting the GRNMA National Public Relation Offficers. Nursing and Midwifery are noble professions and as such all Nurses and Midwives in Ghana are advised to desist from such unacceptable behaviour especially when in uniform in order to protect the dignity of the profession.
