Access Bank Denies Donating N1bn to the Government

About 17 hours ago Access Bank Posted on their Instagram handle some truth about the rumor that they donated N1billion naira to the Nigerian Government.

They stated in their post that this is just a fake news.

They said the fund donated was for fighting the virus, and this is as a result of increasing chances of saving Nigerian Lives. They proceeded with another post.

They said the truth is that the bank joined the private sector coalition (A group of private sectors), against the fight of the virus (COVID-19). They proceeded with a final post saying...

COVID-19 funds are privately managed, and that no donation from the organization or funds from the organization goes to the government.

In my opinion, what they are trying to say is that, they just donated to an organization that is in charge of the fight of this virus to help in fighting this virus and as well incresing the chances of saving the life of Nigerians.
